Join us on Friday, October 10, 5 – 7 pm, for an exhibition by Arkansas Living Treasure, artist Michael Warrick!

His exhibit, Spirits, features narrative and abstract portraits that delve into themes like transformation, identity, and memory. Each portrait uniquely combines narrative images, natural textures, and found objects. Michael Warrick, honored as a living treasure by the Arkansas Arts Council in 2020, taught design, drawing, and sculpture at UA Little Rock from 1990 to 2022.

ABOUT THE MUSEUM

Located in downtown Fort Smith, the Fort Smith Regional Art Museum (RAM) offers fine art exhibitions in five galleries featuring world-class artists, important traveling exhibitions, the museum’s extensive permanent collection, and art by emerging artists. In its modern, 16,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility, RAM offers a wide range of art education opportunities and cultural events. From professional art workshops and juried art contests to online art classes and free Saturday art making programs, RAM connects with schools, visitors and community members of all ages and ethnic backgrounds to support the cultural needs of the region.
